Residence Inn by Marriott Seattle East/Redmond
As an initial offering, we booked a group rate at this hotel. If you prefer this hotel over the Redmond Inn, feel free to book here. This hotel is roughly $28 more per night, and an additional $16 for parking. The only room configuration offered under this booking is single King (Redmond Inn offers a 2 Queen option at the group rate).
That said, this hotel is very close to the other, and may in fact be closer to many Redmond amenities including the Redmond Town Center outdoor mall, where a Macy’s once stood that Hannah would shop at, which has since been turned into the Amazon office Shaydon works at!

The Woodmark Hotel & Still Spa on Lake Washington
Hannah and Shaydon will be staying at this hotel for fun. The hotel is right on Lake Washington and has great views. We will not have a group rate for this hotel.
Day-Of Transit/Shuttle Options

As you may know, our wedding is just around the corner!
We wanted to talk about transportation so that people don’t feel the need to get a rental car.
We also invite families on Shaydon’s side to arrive early if they want (ceremony at 3:30, arrive early around 2:00-2:30) to hang out, chat, and maybe take extra photos with each other and Shaydon (no first look for the bride and groom!) that time might not allow for otherwise during happy hour.
Regarding transportation…
Airport to Hotel:
The Redmond Inn is right next to the “Marymoor Village” light rail station, quite literally a walking distance, and the light rail runs all the way to the airport. The light rail does require one transfer in Seattle to a different light rail line, but is very user-friendly. The light rail trip takes about 1:15hrs to ride from the airport to the hotel, or about 45min by car. Light rail tickets can be purchased at the kiosks at the stations. Flat fare of $3.00 for adults, $1.00 for seniors 65+, and free from children under 18yrs old. No need to pay again on transfer, and cash is not accepted at the door.
Hotel to Wedding Venue:
The Redmond Inn (17601 Redmond Way, Redmond, WA 98052) is just 2.5 miles down the road from our venue (The Red Barn Farm - 5703 208th Ave NE, Redmond, WA 98053).
We are currently working on getting a van to transport guests back to the Redmond Inn in the evening and just have them make trips whenever people want throughout the evening.
There is also a public Metro Bus (route 269) that takes you from the Marymoor Village” light rail station (right by the hotel) to just across the street from the venue (exit at Sahalee Way NE & Redmond Fall City Rd) in about 20-25 minutes. The bus is $3.00 for adults, $1.00 for seniors 65+, and free for children under 18yrs old.
If you do end up renting a car and decide to take it to the wedding venue, there should be sufficient parking.
Wedding Venue to Hotel:
We will be booking a shuttle service for some evening hours, something like 8:30-11:30pm. If you need to leave your car to come get it safely the following day via bus, please do that and take the shuttle to public transit/hotel! Given how close everything is we imagine the shuttle will be flexible enough to give anyone a ride who’s going to either Redmond hotels or BnBs or light rail stations.
